A DOCUMENTARY AND AN INVITATION
Why isn't everyone dancing?
I started dancing in hospital hallways during my cancer treatments, and literal ecstasy moved through me. So I followed it.
For 30 days I danced everywhere. Hospitals, streets, cafés. I had never felt more alive.
Which raised the question of why isn't everyone doing this...
I asked experts. I watched children. And it came back simple: we're not enabled to feel. We're taught to obey. To behave. To suppress. To disconnect from our own bodies.
And when we lose our bodies, we lose our humanity and the possibilities we can create with each other.
This started as my story. But it definitely isn't only mine.
