These last 2 years have been very challenging with the pandemic: productions have been affected and things have become messy and chaotic. So you might feel frustrated and fear not getting enough work in 2022. This can definitely represent a danger for you in terms of money and opportunities to act.
Therefore, you may think you need to take more acting classes; to get better headshots and reel; to connect with more casting directors; and to work with the best mentors in order to improve; so what happened last year does not happen again.
However, the real issue is not to get less results. When you watch my training you'll discover that the real danger is to put your energy and focus on doing “more”, hoping that things will get “better”. If you continue to do so and you don’t take responsibility for your main ingredient, which is your instrument; you as an artist will disappear because you won't be there, you won’t be present and free. Instead, you will push and everything you’ll do will be generic and inauthentic.
The only thing that will give you the results that you want is to show up fully “YOU”. But the free and full version of yourself is resisted under a thick layer of resistance because you’ve been conditioned to be in other people’s expectations, to please others and to do things “right” instead of being yourself. Therefore, you disappear and without that instrument being present, nothing can happen.
Once you undo that conditioning, you will progressively get back to your full self. Then, you’ll be able to show up completely present, free, authentic and alive in your headshots, reel, auditions, on set, etc; everything you do will become easy and flowing; and you’ll be incredibly magnetic to casting directors, directors and the audience. Then, you’ll get the results that you want.
